Beauty & the Beast 2017 Trailer Breaks Records

The trailer beat Fifty Shades Darker, the second movie in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The trailer, released by Disney on Monday, provided looks at Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts.

This trailer is already melting servers all over the world with over 127 million people already having viewed it. The trailer was watched more than 27 million times on Emma Watson's Facebook page.

The movie starring Emma Watson will premiere in Mar 2017 while the Dakota Johnson film will be released on Feb 2017. The Jungle Book grossed almost $1 billion worldwide earlier in the year and given the hype Beauty and the Beast is generating, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility surpassing that number. The studio has a bunch of live-action stuff lined up - The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan- so expect this formula to continue.

Good news for all Disney fans: The movie will most likely stick close to the original from 1991 and adapt most of the plot. "I was like, 'Well, there was never very much information or detail at the beginning of the story as to why Belle didn't fit in, other than she liked books". She is also known as an activist and a feminist who fights for the rights of women, promoting education for girls in Bangladesh and Zambia. We still relate and see Belle as someone who could have been us.

For years the company has been talking about this new version of "Beauty and the Beast" and the main attraction will be Emma Watson as Belle, who is popularly known as Hermoine in the "Harry Potter" film saga.

"So, we created a backstory for her, which was that she had invented a kind of washing machine, so that, instead of doing laundry, she could sit and use that time to read instead". "She's overprotected in a way, by her father, because she's lost her mother". Yeah, everybody involved in making Beauty and the Beast is going to need one of those come next March.
