Released in 2011, the title drummed up significant acclaim, and it's no surprise that its remastered edition, released late previous year, was well-received too.

Since Skyrim Special Edition launched, the developers of the game have been pretty good about making sure the game is as good as it can possibly be.

We know that when Bethesda announced Skyrim Special Edition which featured updated graphics and more, many gamers were probably thrilled by the announcement.

Bethesda reportedly has no plans to release another "Elder Scrolls" games at the moment, Peter Hines himself, the studio's VP for Marketing and PR, confirmed.

As initially detailed by VG 24/7, one of the more significant refinements coming in Skyrim: Special Edition's version 1.3 patch is the improved support for 144hz PC monitors. Perhaps a remaster of Morrowind or Oblivion could be in the works, they hoped.

Instead of wishing for more remastered versions, users should shift their gaze at the future, since that's where Bethesda is looking toward. He continues: "But these things take time, it takes effort and manpower".

But what about the definitive edition of Dishonored that Bethesda released?

As of this writing, there haven't been any reports about patch misbehavior, given "Skyrim: Special Edition" had a history of its patches contributing to additional problems.

Finally, Hines hinted at Bethesda's possible expansion of genre, whether it plans to break away from its vaunted repute as an exclusively RPG studio.

"Things that aren't just saying, 'Well everyone's doing X, so we're going to do X too, '" Hines said. This patch however, will only be available for PC and PlayStation 4 as of this time.
