Adam Sandler has broken his ankle while playing basketball over the weekend, his representative told The Associated Press in a statement on Monday (April 1).

According to his rep, Sandler is currently filming ‘Bedtime Stories’ for Walt Disney Pictures which is due in cinema’s later this year.

The statement explained that the funnyman’s accident won’t affect the production of the movie.
