Reports that Cameron Diaz was seeking "medical attention" for stress due to her father’s unexpected death last week are not true, her representative stated on Thursday (April 24).

Diaz’s co-star in her new movie ‘What Happens In Vegas’, Ashton Kutcher, reportedly told the media at the London premiere last Wednesday that, "Sadly she will not be joining us for the premiere as she has just lost her father and is under medical attention with stress at the moment."

The 35-year-old’s rep issued a denial saying, "Those reports are absolutely untrue.  She has taken time off to be with her family and plans to return to work next week."

Emilio Diaz passed away after a brief battle with pneumonia on April 5.
