Dennis Farina Arrested With Gun In L.A. Airport

‘Law & Order’ star Dennis Farina was arrested on Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport, after he attempted to go through security with a loaded gun in his briefcase.
According to police, the 64-year-old actor forgot he was carrying the .22 caliber semi automatic pistol after driving from Arizona to L.A. to board a flight to Chicago.
Farina was arrested, and the charge was upgraded to a felony when police discovered the firearm was not registered. Bail was set at US$35,000.
Police told Reuters that the on-screen detective "was very apologetic and cooperative with officers. However, he had no apparent authority to carry a concealed weapon at the time of his arrest."
