Jessica Alba Taking Some Time Off

‘Fantastic Four’ star Jessica Alba has told Fox News that she’s ready to take eight months off from the movie business to just "read", leading some to speculate that the sabbatical could be maternity leave.
Alba attended the premiere of her new movie ‘Awake’ at New York’s Chelsea West Theatre last Wednesday (November 14), telling Roger Friedman, "I’ve worked the last two and a half years without stopping. This is the time to do it."
The 26-year-old stars opposite Hayden Christensen in the film, which IMDB.com describes as a thriller about a man who "finds himself awake and aware, but paralysed, during heart surgery."
Alba is also currently filming ‘The Love Guru’ with Mike Myers, and has another movie coming out called ‘The Eye’, which is co-produced by Tom Cruise’s business partner Paula Wagner.
Following these releases, the actress is going to take some time out to read. "That would be nice," she said.
