Kylie Minogue has opened up to UK magazine Glamour about her battle with breast cancer on the eve of the release of her first new song since 2004 and new album entitled ‘X’.
The Australian singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, told of the struggle in dealing with the changes she went through both emotionally and physically.
Minogue told Glamour that, "When you are stripped of everything and you have to grow your eyelashes back, grow your hair back, it’s just astonishing. It’s hard to express what I’ve learned from that, but a deep psychological and emotional shift has obviously taken place."
She also downplayed any rumors of getting back with former partner Olivier Martinez, who supported her through her cancer battle, saying, "I think he has a girlfriend, I’m not entirely sure, but it’s not true."
Minogue’s tenth studio album, ‘X’ hits stores in late November, with her new single ‘2 Hearts’ being released to international radio this week.
