Nicole Kidman has revealed in an interview with the US edition of marie claire that she lost two babies during her marriage to Tom Cruise, saying it was "incredibly traumatic for me", and that a previous story published about it was incorrect.

Kidman, now married to Australian country singer Keith Urban, told the magazine that a recent article in Vanity Fair incorrectly stated that she miscarried when she was 23 and married to Cruise.

"It was wrongly reported," she says.

"So it’s huge news and it didn’t happen. I had a miscarriage at the end of my marriage, but I had an ectopic pregnancy at the beginning of my marriage."

Kidman also told the magazine that she still did not know why Cruise abruptly ended their marriage in 2001, and that she hoped to have a baby with Urban.

During the interview, the Australian actress also cleared up the constant plastic surgery rumors, saying, "To be honest, I am completely natural. I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself, and I’m very proud to say that."
