The producer of ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’, Michael Patrick King, has announced that fans can expect a super-charged film version of the cult television series, after he revealed this week that the movie will be more than two hours long.
King joined the films’ leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon in New York at a function for the Point Foundation Honors.
On the red carpet, Parker was asked if the film would premiere in New York.
"It’s the city that owns the movie in many ways, and we’ve alway said it’s the fifth lady, so I’m sure we’ll be here," she replied.
King, meanwhile, told Entertainment Tonight that he was too busy working on the film to think about the premiere.
"I’m still working on the movie. Other people are working on the premieres, I’m still polishing the baby. It’s a two-hour-and-fifteen-minute, big, delicious baby. It’s for the fans," King said.
