Audrina Partidge, one of the stars of MTV’s reality show ‘The Hills’, has commented publicly about the behind numerous semi-naked photos that have surfaced online over the past 24 hours saying, "I was young and very trusting of others".

The photos were allegedly taken prior to the 22-year-old joining the hit show, with Partridge releasing a statement via her representative.

"I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me," she said.

At the time of reporting, no comment had been made by MTV about how this may be worked in to future episodes, or Partridge’s future with the show.
